Registration is open for NAF Next 2021! While this year's theme, DRIVE, is reflective of all that our network has overcome during these challenging times, we are ready to get in the driver's seat and move forward. With plenty of support and tools to share, we are excited to experience a bigger and brighter future together. This year's conference will be an all-virtual conference. Learn more and register here.

And with school wrapping up and graduation just around the corner, purchase some NAF graduation items or NAF swag for your academy at the NAF store!
Resource of the Week
Spring & Summer Opportunities for Students
Check out two exciting programs we have coming up to help NAF students get future ready this spring and summer.
The College Success Course will give juniors and seniors an advantage as they plan for their first semester of college.
NSLC and NAF's Mastering Leadership and Community Advocacy program will give seniors, juniors, and sophomores the chance to explore their strengths and talents as they develop their natural leadership abilities. All opportunities are free and virtual!
Curriculum You Can Use
With availability and easy access to information on the Internet, we're sure that your students may be reaching a knowledge overload. It is integral that students take time to reflect and explain their research findings to make the link between learning and action.

Introducing Wakelet, a creative application, is a great way to encourage students to reflect and explain their experiences on finding an internship. It is a free content curation platform where students save links, social media posts, videos, and images that they organize into collections. Students add notes to each item to tell a story, ask questions, or even present to others. Additionally, use the Plan Your Internship Lesson Plan to engage students in creating a Wakelet Collection to explain their findings.
ONLINE & HYBRID TEACHING
The research is clear that when you give your students a voice and a choice in their learning, their engagement goes up and they learn more than before. Try this simple “Would You Rather?" activity from Dr. Catlin Tucker with your students before the year is finished!
RACIAL EQUITY IN PRACTICE
The Second Act can be just as inspiring as the first. Meet Jens Bromann, a Danish athlete who is blind. He competed in the Paralympics in 1976 and later founded Handi Life Sport, a company that creates boccia balls for the football Paralympics. Have your students take a step towards starting their own business and thinking like an entrepreneur with Starter High's Free Business Starting Course.
EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT
Don’t let funding be a barrier for internships! Many times organizations and companies may not be able host interns, but they may be willing to help sponsor interns. Use this “Sponsor an Intern” template as an aid when you seek funding for student internships.
