Tomorrow, we celebrate one of the most well-known leaders of the Civil Rights Movement, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who fought for a world of equality.

Check out these MLK-themed articles to share with your students, where you can learn how he channeled his anger into positive work and this opinion piece on what he would say about the civil unrest today. We hope that these can be used to start up conversations with your students on leadership, healthy protesting, and battling injustice.
Resource of the Week
Grant Funding Opportunity
The Paul Hastings Equitable Education Fund is addressing inequality by accepting and administering direct grants to under-resourced K-12 public schools, districts, and educators. Applications are now open and will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until February 28, 2021.
Curriculum You Can Use
This week we have resources from PBL Works on Lifting Our Voices - a project designed to teach students to use their voice and create change as we build from last week’s topic of engaging students with current events. In addition, use the Doodle for Google competition for students to share what makes them uniquely strong.
