Incorporating Hip Hop Culture into Educational Spaces
Join us for a conversation on November 19 at 3pm EST with Dr. Edmund Adjapong, Assistant Professor and Program Director within the Department of Educational Studies at Seton Hall University and former middle school science educator. Dr. Adjapong's current focus is on how to incorporate youth culture into educational spaces, specifically on utilizing hip-hop culture and sensibilities as an approach to teaching and learning.
Hospitality & Tourism Curriculum
Here are some resources for you to create a fun and exciting week:

Hospitality and Tourism: In this lesson, teach students about Technology in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. Additionally, you can show the Safety & COVID - The New Normal at Hotels for Safety of Travelers during COVID-19 video to highlight the implementation of new technology.  
 
Culinary Arts: In this lesson called Becoming a Chef, students will explore the skills needed to be successful on this career path.

Customer Service: Challenge students to use The State of Customer Service in 2020 Data-Driven Research Report to write one-page summaries for each chapter on the challenges and adaptations that the customer service industry faces.

Event Planning: Use the Event Budgeting: The 2020 Guide for Event Marketer to ensure that your event budget sets you up well. Students use this guide to summarize tips, best practices and more for creating a reliable event marketing budget in 2020 and beyond.

WHAT WE'RE LEARNING - RACIAL EQUITY IN PRACTICE
Students finding the right college will look quite different this Fall.
