Health Sciences: Students produce a summary report after researching the latest information on COVID-19 vaccines and learning how to prevent the spread by developing experimental coronavirus vaccines. 
  
Hospitality & Tourism: Students learn why customer service is vital to the Hospitality industry in these interactive activities from CTE Online, where they practice challenging customer service situations. 
  
Information Technology: Ever wonder who creates those fun Google logos? In this activity, students can create their own logo for Google. For students, who are deepening their JavaScript skills, check out this drawing and animation programming lesson from Khan Academy.

HOW WE'RE TEACHING ONLINE 
Pear Deck is one of our favorite online learning tools: it lets you add interactive questions to Google Slides or PowerPoint presentations and get student feedback while you teach. WHAT WE'RE LEARNING - RACIAL EQUITY IN PRACTICE
In lieu of in-person guest speakers, students can listen to this conversation about bias and challenging the status quo between AT&T CEO, Anne Chow and CNN's Fredrika Whitfield. We also recommend listening to Kamau Bobb, Google's Global Diversity Strategy & Research Lead, talk about access to STEM education for all and what we can do. 
WHEN WORK-BASED LEARNING GOES VIRTUAL 
Start the school year off right by working with your advisory board to plan your academy's WBL calendar. Consider live and asynchronous experiences to ensure that all students have equal opportunities to engage in impactful WBL. Fill in this calendar to get started and check out these examples for inspiration.
