NAF's Education Today
We’ve heard from many educators about how the post-election news cycle has left you or your students feeling overwhelmed with a range of emotions. We hope these two self-care resources will be helpful for you as you navigate this historic time with your classroom: How to Cope with Election Stress from the Crisis Text Line and Post-Election Choice Board from anti-racist educator, Liz Kleinrock, that helps students think about how to take care of themselves.
Resource of the Week

Finance & Business Curriculum
Here are some lessons and activities to try:

Finance: Have your students learn about savings habits, how to achieve financial well-being, or build wealth and more through these activities! Use this Case Study: Save Me! and follow two high school friends with different spending habits or Build your $tax in groups, where your students will play a game growing their wealth over a span of 20 years!

Economics: Paying for college can be an unsettling thought for students. Try this game, Time for Payback, where your students can learn to manage their finances in college and earn scholarship money. Take the Payback Challenge before it ends on November 20th!

Business: Examine this Unit Plan on Ethics, where students will learn to define what ethics are, explore ethical dilemmas in consumerism and the workplace, and more.
